  1. Immediately input your home data in the REIN (formerly known as MLS) computer for the quickest exposure to all REIN members. This will allow up-to-the-minute access to information about your home to all internet users and the approximate 4,500 realtors in Hampton Roads.
  2. Submit copies of your listing to our company sales staff.
  3. Advertise your home in The Virginian Pilot.
  4. Advertise your home in either the Real Estate Digest, Real Estate Book or Harmon Homes Magazine.
  5. Prepare a professional brochure/handout for prospective buyers describing the features and benefits of your home and neighborhood.
  6. Notify your immediate neighbors that your home is available for sale. This often generates prospective purchasers (optional at the owners' discretion).
  7. Broker tours will be hosted and sponsored by the listing agent.
  8. Hold open houses as mutually agreed. Open houses will be advertised in The Virginian Pilot on weekends of the open house.
  9. Provide top quality facilities and answer inquiries during usual business hours PLUS provide 24 hour telephone service via pagers and cellular telephones.
  10. Maintain weekly contact to advise owners about information on interested parties or changes in market conditions. Agent will contact each prospective purchaser and/or purchaser's agent to obtain feedback regarding the showings.
  11. Present & negotiate all offers promptly, assisting you in the negotiations to obtain the highest possible sales price. Make every effort to determine the qualification of the prospective purchasers.
  12. Keep you advised and up-to-date on purchasers' loan application status.
  13. Coordinate the following: termite and moisture inspections, home and walk-through inspections, closing dates, attorneys, surveyors and any other inspections or repairs necessary for the successful sale of the property.
